The Good Living Senior Center is able to serve the senior community with
the help of generous contributions—of people’s time, effort,
money, and inspiration. Here are some ways you can get involved.
Volunteer
To volunteer your time, services or to make an
in-kind donation, call the center’s director at
748-8470.
Cash Donations
Cash donations are welcome any time. Checks for donations can be made out
to Good Living Senior Center at 1207 Main St., St. Johnsbury, VT 05819.
Ways to volunteer:
Join our Board of Directors and guide the center in fulfilling its mission.
Volunteer to help with the center’s everyday tasks, for example:
- Helping with monthly newsletter mailings
- Shopping for supplies
- Setting up tea and refreshment service for events and activities
- Doing filing and office work
- Decorating the center
- Putting up event posters
- Providing computer assistance
Be a special events planner for one-time events, outings, raffles, and holiday parties, such as:
- Arranging trips
- Organizing a seasonal fundraising raffle
- Play a musical instrument or lead a sing-along
Lead an activity, such as:
- Card games
- Scrapbooking, quilting or other crafts
